ABOUT US
Each year, the Outdoor Spaces VT delivers a cutting-edge two-day conference to the people of the Pikes Peak Region and southern Colorado. Our goal is to provide the latest information on sustainable landscape and water conservation practices to professionals and homeowners, in order to cultivate a community-wide landscape ethic that reflects opportunities and limitations of the western ecosystem in which we live. Through this effort, we hope to inspire more beautiful, functional, and resilient water-wise western landscapes.
The Event’s Mission: To provide an educational forum inspiring the communities of southern Colorado to create appealing and enduring landscapes suitable for our soils, climate, and finite water resources.
Event Description: The Peak to Prairie Landscape Symposium is a two-day landscape conference held annually in spring. It is usually held on a Friday and Saturday. The educational delivery methods include lectures, round table discussions, workshops, table displays, and a book sale. This year, for the first time, we will feature an art show and sale by the Rocky Mountain Society of Botanical Art.
Audience: Typically about 400 attendees, most of whom are green industry professionals and advanced home gardeners. Roughly 40-45% of registrants list an affiliation with a green industry business, organization, or government agency on their registration form.
